Let me illustrate with a personal story. I have never met a stranger; they are simply friends I haven’t met yet. Stepping into a room full of unfamiliar faces energizes me and the prospect of connecting with people on a deeper level brings excitement. I love delving into conversations, listening to stories, and understanding what brings others to life from the inside out.
Initially, I didn’t recognize this ability as a gift. I mistakenly assumed everyone possessed the knack for feeling comfortable around others. From a young age, we are taught to strive harder to perfect things that don’t come naturally, which may divert us from the things that bring us utter joy and come effortlessly. This misunderstanding is the primary reason many fail to recognize their gifts.
While some individuals acknowledge their gifts but ignore them, driven by a desire to fit in, avoid attention, or let others shine, recognizing and embracing your talents adds purpose and meaning to your life.
Deep down, you carry unique gifts imprinted on your soul from birth. It’s time to acknowledge and live through them. Play with them, experiment, and share them with others. Embodying and appreciating these gifts will provide a profound sense of purpose.
When people witness you living through your gifts, you will inspire them to do the same. Sharing your talents allows others to appreciate and connect with their unique talents. Your gifts hold immense power and value for the world.
